Gucci is a middle-aged piggy who developed ovarian cysts and cancer. Her family was unable to take her to have fully treated. After a year, she was brought to AGPR and our vets diagnosed her with ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cysts, and hyperthyroidism.
Gucci requires multiple medications twice a day and injections every few months. We adjust her medications as she needs to keep her comfortable and happy. Her cancers were too advanced to operate by the time she came to us, so she is under hospice care, getting everything she could possibly want every day for the rest of her life. She gets a treat twice a day after her medicine since she doesn't like the way it tastes, and she's trained the 6 year old human in the house to bring her veggies on demand.
