Pigly is seven years old and he was returned to the rescue with his friend Charlie. Poor Pigly, however, has very red, inflamed, and sore front paws, and he wasn’t eating much, so the boys had to be separated to allow Pigly to receive the care he needs. He’s doing daily soaks with a betadine solution (an antiseptic), and he’s on vetbed, a special liner to keep his paws dry and clean. He also takes antibiotics. If his feet heal, he'll remain with us and getting the tender loving care this old man needs!
